Cinematography and Photography
Hi. I'm Carrie Gaiotti, and I'm 17 years old. My hobbies are dance, fitness, and playing the guitar. I have one older sister named Katelyn, who's 20, a cat named Zoey who's 9, a mother named Christine, who's 44 and a father named Christopher who's 50. I love reading, but my favorite types of books to read are autobiographies so I can really learn about the person writing it. My favorite autobiography is Moonwalk by Michael Jackson. I joined this class because I'd heard so many good things about it and I really wanted to try it for myself. Everyone said it was fun and had something for everyone. I want to gain more knowledge of film, because I have always found it very interesting. I want to know lots of things about cinematography, but most importantly, I want to see and learn how actors in films begin to bond, and how they in turn bond with the people behind the scenes of the film. I want to make films about performing arts, specifically dance, because I love it more than anything. My favorite movie genre is horror, because it gives the directors and producers lots of room to be creative. Music motivates me to work hard. I have to have it in my life all the time, wherever I go. My five concerns are my family, my future, my friends, dance, and academic balance. My favorite subject is English, because I love literature, writing, and reading. The three words that best describe me are determined, passionate, and caring. My biggest character turnoff is when people are ignorant and narrowminded.
